The ASTL concept was originally conceived by Gary Stein in 1995. That concept and the mission of ASTL are to provide logistics services from initiation to completion, 24-7.

Though logistics have been around for some time, Mr. Stein noticed that there was a complete void of logistical services available to the generators of regulated wastes and hazardous materials, such as valuable spent catalysts, which periodically require regeneration. Time management is critical, and essential.

With this in mind, Mr. Stein founded ASTL and began offering these services. The services have been received with considerable gratitude by a number of clients, which primarily include generators of hazardous wastes, treatment, storage and disposal facilities, and petroleum refiners.
